the sky is so bright - almost looks artificially bright, as if it's being illuminated from something behind your camera... with the exception of the horizon, which is more reminiscent of somewhere decidedly dickensian... indeed, it does look at little victorian, with the architecture of the clock, and that lacy, cloudy sky. and the contrast between the brilliance of the sky with that gorgeous dark clock is just beautiful. very well done. wow. i really love the contrast between the two; the clock is so dark it's nearly playing second fiddle to the sky, but my eye is drawn ultimately to the clock, shrouded on all sides by that brilliant sky, both brooding and heavenly. bravo

The old apperance of the photo due to the use of Black and White, and the noise in the image, reflects the traditional design of the clock very nicely.
